Meal Planning Monday

I’m not sure quite how it’s managed to be Monday again. Time seems to be zipping past! I almost wrote April 6th in the post title, despite the fact that I’ve spent the day aware that it’s the May Day Bank Holiday (the college gardens were unusually full of shrieking children).

Anyway, not a great deal is happening this week, so I have a full six days’ worth of meals to plan. I’m planning lunches as well as dinners this week because I’ve been increasingly bad at eating them lately. A couple of things are repeated because I froze them in two-portion tubs.

Monday

Lunch: bread rolls with cheese and fig jam
Dinner: chilli with rice, natural yogurt with strawberry jam

Tuesday

Lunch: toasted bagels with garlic and herb cream cheese
Dinner: spaghetti bolognese

Wednesday

Lunch: cheese and mushroom omelette
Dinner: baked potato with beans

Thursday

Lunch: macaroni cheese
Dinner: sausage casserole

Friday

Lunch: toasted bagel with peanut butter
Dinner: Quorn, leek and mushroom pie

Saturday

Lunch: English muffins and tomato soup
Dinner: spaghetti bolognese
